Exclusion screening (OIG / SAM), explained

What exclusion screening checks, why a possible match isn't a denial, and why we never store your SSN.

Exclusion screening confirms you aren't barred from working in healthcare. RepCertify checks your name against the federal OIG LEIE and SAM.gov exclusion lists, and re-checks regularly.

A possible match is not a denial

Names collide often. If your name resembles a listed entry, a person reviews it before anything is decided — nothing is auto-denied, and nothing is auto-cleared on an ambiguous match. This protects you from being blocked by someone else's record.

We never store your SSN

RepCertify does not collect or store Social Security or Taxpayer Identification Numbers. If identity needs to be confirmed against an official source during a review, that happens on the official site, not in RepCertify.
